If you haven’t done any of these yet, don\u2019t worry; I\u2019ll walk you through them quickly.<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Visit the Postman official<\/a> webpage to sign up or download<\/a> the desktop application, through which you can also sign up or sign in.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Let\u2019s assume you downloaded the desktop app. As soon as you attempt to install it, you will see a window that gives you the option to sign up and sign in.<\/p>\n

However, you would need to enter the credentials into the Postman desktop application if the proxy server set up for your PC needs basic authentication. As such, you can enable a system proxy in Postman\u2019s settings by following the steps below:<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> First, click the hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the Postman app.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Hover on \u201cFile\u201d and select \u201cSettings.\u201d After that, click on the \u201cProxy\u201d tab on the side menu bar.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> This time, turn on the toggle next to \u201cUse custom proxy configuration.\u201d Make sure to also select the type of your proxy server: HTTP or HTTPS.<\/p>\n

Make sure you have Postman’s most recent version installed if you want to fix this. Additionally, verify each proxy setting to help solve the issue.<\/p>\n

Either because you didn\u2019t provide a username and password or you entered the wrong username and password for the proxy authentication.
